THE DRIVE-ALIVE CLIENTS' TRUST ACCOUNT - 100% financial security:
The payment for your Drive-Alive holiday is held in a trust account and cannot
be used by Drive Alive until you have completed your holiday.
Drive-Alive Holidays Ltd is not ABTA bonded, as this system is mainly for travel
agents, and offers protection in the event of a failure of one of their holiday
suppliers. We are not ATOL bonded, as this system is only for companies that
offer flights, which we do not.
EC and UK regulations covering the package travel industry state that
arrangements must be in place to protect clients' payments. As a tour operator
we're legally bound to hold all your holiday money in an independent trust
account until you've returned. So your payment is 100% protected.
Because your funds are held in the Drive-Alive Clients' Trust Account, your
money cannot be used by Drive Alive until after the date that you return home
from your holiday. So in the unlikely event that Drive Alive ran into financial
problems your money would always be available to ensure that you could complete
your holiday and that the hoteliers and cross channel operators from whom we buy
your holiday would be paid.
All payments received from you are paid directly into our trust account held at
the National Westminster bank, Sheffield Broomhill Branch. Details of this
account can be supplied on request. If you pay by cheque your cheque should be
made payable to Drive-Alive Clients' Trust Account. Credit/debit card payments,
whether made online or by telephone, are processed through Streamline, a
National Westminster subsidiary company, and are sent directly to the Trust
Account electronically.
No monies can be released from this account to Drive Alive until the trustee is
satisfied your holiday has been completed. The trustee must not be the same
person who acts as a professional adviser to Drive Alive. The trustee of the
Drive Alive trust account is Mr J D Welch, Chartered Accountant, Allotts, The
Old Grammer School, 13 Moorgate Road, Rotherham S60 2EN. The trustee will not
sign for the release of funds from the Drive Alive trust account until Drive
Alive has produced documentary evidence that the holiday in question has been
completed.
Confirmation of these arrangements can be supplied by emailing the trustee
info@allotts.co.uk and inserting the
subject Drive-Alive.
Your Privacy - Any personal information supplied by
you will be stored securely and used only by Drive-Alive for the purpose of
arranging your holiday. It will not be supplied or sold to any third party under
any circumstances.
