stena fast ferry explorer dun laoghaire holyheadFrom the end of June to early September travel by the world's largest fastcraft ferry between Holyhead and Dun Laoghaire on the HSS Stena Explorer.  This impressive vessel zips across the Irish Sea in just 2 hours.

Then throughout the year the Stena Express manages the Irish Sea crossing in just 1 hour 50 minutes. Both vessels offer a wide range of facilities to ensure the short journey seems even faster.

There are a range of lounges to choose from, which also includes, for a small extra payment, the Premium Stena Plus Lounge, offering complimentary snacks and personal service to your seat. There's an observation area at the front of the ship, Barista Coffee Lounge, Food City restaurant, and the Metropolitan Bar, as well as on board shopping and a play area for kids. The vessels offers free Wi-Fi if you have your own laptop, PDA or smartphone. All you need is your access card from reception.
